What it is, exactly
Thailand Privilege — formerly Thailand Elite — is the Thai government's membership-based long-stay residence program, operated by Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd., a state-owned company under Thailand's tourism authority. The principle: a single membership fee, paid once, grants you a multiple-entry visa of 5 to 20 years depending on the tier, with a one-year stay renewed at each entry — renewable in-country, without leaving Thailand. In practice: you reside in Thailand without interruption, free from the 90-day border runs other visas impose.
No proof of income, no minimum-stay obligation, no annual renewals to manage: the only conditions are a clean passport and a security screening —
and you only pay after official approval.
